Mr. Leuin is a member of the State Bar of California; State Bar of California Law Practice Management Section; Los Angeles County Bar Association; Beverly Hills Bar Association and the International Association of Property Insurance Counsel.

Mr. Leuin serves as Judge of Moot Court at University of California at Los Angeles and Whittier College School of Law competitions.

Mr. Leuin has lectured for the Building Industry Association's (BIA) legal counsel on “Insurance Coverage for Construction Defects, April 1991; and was a guest speaker at the Insurance Information Council's May 1993 seminar, “Updates in Construction Defects,”. He was also a panelist and contributing author in “Cutting the Gordian Knot: Mediating the Construction Coverage Dispute,” Insurance Coverage Litigation Committee of the Tort and Insurance Practice Section of the American Bar Association, Newport Beach, California in February 1996.

Mr. Leuin's publications include “Trigger Date Determined for Insurance Coverage;” CC&F's Legal Update, Fall 1988; “Home v. Landmark Rehearing;” CC&F's Legal Update, Spring 1989; “Insurance Coverage and Minimizing Insurance Disputes: An Outline for Developers, Builders and General Contractors,” April 1991; “Insurance Coverage for Wrongful Termination Claims, Part I & II,” CC&F's Legal Update, Winter and Spring issues, 1992. He is also a contributing author for Insurance Handbook for Business Litigators.

Mr. Leuin's customary fields of practice include all aspects of insurance coverage and bad faith litigation, general insurance defense, real property law, and general civil litigation. ▪

Terry C. Leuin received his B.A. from University of California at Berkeley in 1967, his Ph.D. from University of California at Berkeley in 1976, and his J.D., cum laude, from Loyola University of Los Angeles in 1982.
